Fabled for its futuristic, avant-garde designs, Paris-based Courrèges launched in the early 1960s to considerable buzz by its namesake, André. Influenced by architecture, technology, and progressive fabrications, Courrèges would ultimately produce some of the 20th century’s most indelible designs, including the modernist pieces found in his now-iconic Moon Girl collection. A continued influence on designers as diverse as Junya Wantanabe and Fausto Puglisi, Courrèges relaunched for Spring 2015 with a collection of covetable pieces fusing the house’s storied Space Age chic with a streamlined, contemporary cool.
