Maison Michel has been the go-to brand for headwear since it was founded in Paris in 1936. Having made hats for Yves Saint Laurent in the 70s, and Christian Lacroix, Lanvin and Chanel – who later purchased the label - in the 80s, the esteemed brand is now being reimagined with Priscilla Royer as creative director.
Having previously worked for Vivienne Westwood and started her own fashion line alongside her sister, the newly appointed Royer is reviving the label with youthful vigor and strong character. To this day the brand prioritizes know-how, technical expertise and individuality, and with Royer at the helm, the newest styles are some of the most innovative and inspiring yet.
