Founders and friends, Dana Alikhani and Tatiana Santo Domingo, thought up the ethical concept behind their colorful brand, Muzungu Sisters, in New York in 2009. Shining a light on artisan-crafted goods sourced from around the globe, the duo wanted to create a line of products that promised fair labour practices - offering quality designs that not only showcase cultural techniques and traditional skills – but that will also boost local economies that really need it.  Tap into the label’s bohemian spirit with one of its colorfully embroidered blouses, or try a weightless kaftan for an unfussy holiday look.
